Chino Latino's Birthday Party

Monday 20 March 2017

When I recieved a invitation through my email inbox from Chino Latino asking if I would like to attend their birthday party on the 16th March. I graciously and excitedly accepted.
Chino Latino is on Maid Marian way in the heart of Nottingham city centre. It's a Pan-Asian cuisine restaurant with a latin cocktail bar. It's one of the most beautiful venues that I've ever been to in my life.
A street performer dressed in a beautiful red Chinese silk dress with chopsticks in her hair was memorising all of the guests and members of the public outside by eating fire and swinging nunchucks.
Guests were warmly welcomed into Park Plaza's lobby at 7:30pm. Alcoholic drinks and canapes were served while everyone socialised with eachother. My favourite part of the lobby was the magnificent center piece which was a large illumated table which held lines of sushi for guests to help themselves and to tuck into.
The dress code for the birthday party was red and black. My outfit was black heels (Evans), off the shoulder dress (New Look), cardigan and bag (F&F).
I'd like to say thank you to Gemma from TheGemAgenda for taking this lovely picture of me in my outfit to show on my blog :)
At about 8:30pm a beautiful chinese dragon came into the lobby and performed a dance for us and lead everyone into Chino Latino.
Zingy latino cocktails were laid out all along the bar for the guests to enjoy. I loved the orange and tequilla cocktail and it was the most delicious cocktail i've ever tasted. I would love to visit Chino Latino again for another.
The DJ was playing pop classics songs such as Shakira, Justin Timberlake and Beyonce which is my favourite type of music to dance to.
The atmosphere was lively and fun. I loved socialising with everyone from the digital industry especially my fellow bloggers. We know how to party.
At the end of last year I mentioned in my 2016 reflection video that I wanted to meet like minded people and make new friends. It's only March and I feel that i'm smashing this goal. I can't wait to see what else 2017 has in store.
Anyway a large table at the back of Chino Latino served scrummy dessert canapes. What caught my eye was the huge tower of profiteroles which made my mouth water because profiteroles are my favourite dessert. Yum!
I was sad to go home as I had such a great evening letting my hair down and dancing. But what i've learnt in my 29 years of being on this earth is that it's better to leave when you are on a high.
In my goodie bag from Chino Latino I recieved a loyalty card, discount voucher, pen, miji sauce and a yo yo.
