NYX Cosmetics Vegan Make Up Master Class

Friday 17 January 2020

On the evening of 16th January I was invited by Sarah from the NYX team at Boots in Intu Derby to a NYX Cosmetics vegan make up master class. This is not a sponsored post, I went for fun. Sarah created one look on each eye. The left eye was a natural smokey look and the right was glittery. I learnt some handy make up tips and learning about vegan beauty. I'm looking forward to adding some vegan make up to my collection.

Here is a list of all the products used in the make up looks and services available.

Spectrum Zodiac 6 Piece Set Review

Hi everyone!
During Christmas and New Years I decided to hibernate for the entire duration of the holiday period. It was great to be in my own little cocoon at home in the warmth with Netflix on, drinking endless amounts of cups of tea. I was enjoying myself too much to go out sale shopping so I decided to do it online instead. I'm not a fan of large crowds and busy buses as it triggers my anxiety so internet shopping is the way to go.
I've decided this year that I am watching my spending habits and only purchasing items that I really need. I've been needing a new cruelty free make up brush set for along time and I didn't find the right set until now.
In the Superdrug sale I brought Spectrum Zodiac 6 piece set for only £4.99 and it's worth £40. What a bargain. In the set it contains a powder brush, precision brush, eyeshadow brush, blush brush, angled brush and a cute iridescent bag to keep them in.
The brush design is purple with iridescent stars. Purple is my favourite colour. I love how the brush bristles go from light to dark. I'm obsessed!
The brushes work very well and I'm impressed with the results. To watch a unboxing and my first impressions of the brushes applying a full face of make up then why not watch my video below :)

Retro Gaming Night At Geek Retreat

Sunday 12 January 2020

Hi everyone!
On the evening of Friday 10th January. I went to a Retro gaming event that my friend James from ItsMuchMore hosted at Geek Retreat Nottingham for one night only. I hope there are plenty more events to come. Follow me on Twitter and I'll update you to let you know of any gaming events in the future .
The consoles avaliable to play were the Sega Dreamcast, Sega Mega Drive Mini, Super Nintendo Classic Mini, Nintendo 64, Nintendo Game Cube, Sony PlayStation, Sony PlayStation 2 and Atari Flashback 8 HD Gold. All of the consoles had a wide variety of games to play.
I love how games can bring people together because everyone at the event happily chatted to eachother and reminisced about their favourite games and consoles. I met one elderly gentleman who had never played on a console before in his entire life. He was thrilled that he got to learn how to play virtual tennis on the Play Station 2. It was very sweet.
Games are for all ages and it just goes to show that no matter what age you are, you can still have a go and learn something new.
Geek Retreat Nottingham is located just inside of Flying Horse Walk on St Peters Gate.
The entrance is on the first floor and to get into the venue (on the second floor) you can either take the stairs or an elevator (which is great for wheelchair/pram accessiblity).
I was impressed with the wide variety of board games on offer (which are to free to play) with plenty of tables and chairs avaliable. They also have a cafe which you can order food and drink from. My favourite console and game to play on the night was the Sega Mega Drive Mini and Sonic The Hedgehog. What a classic! I'd recommend that you come and visit. Click here to be redirected to Geek Retreat's website to find out more information.
What are your favourite consoles and games to play? What are your nostalgic memories when it comes to gaming? Let me know in the comments below. I filmed the event for my YouTube channel. You can watch it below :)

What I Got For Christmas 2019

Sunday 5 January 2020

Hi everyone!
I wanted to share with you a few lovely presents that I received on Christmas Day. These were gifted by friends and family. I'm so grateful to have such nice things and wonderful people in my life.
So first of all I received a big box of Cadbury's Milk Tray (2 tiers) which didn't last long at all on Christmas Day. The hazelnut swirls and caramel hearts were my favourites. I received a beautiful Pandora "Shine Bright" bracelet (with a heart charm) which I think will be one of my positive affirmations for the new year. I also received a box of Lush Snow Fairy goodies (snow fairy is my favourite scent from Lush), 3 Robin candles and an Aquarius zodiac mug which I'll look forward to drinking many cups of tea out of in 2020,
Last but not least I got gifted a Marks & Spencer Chocolate and coconut liqueur. It's a vegan dupe of Baileys. It has a smooth texture, very boozy and sweet. This year I'm going to try and test out more vegan and dairy free alternatives. This is a perfect liqueur to have at Christmas or New Years served with crushed ice in a glass or maybe in hot chocolate with whipped coconut cream and marshmallows. Recommended!
Let me know in the comments what you got for Christmas.

Hello 2020

Thursday 2 January 2020

Happy New Year!
I thought I'd share my goals for 2020. What are yours? Let me know in the comments below.
Well first of all i'd like to feel more comfortable in my own body. After Christmas and New Years indulgence (my diet has mostly consisted of chocolate and cheese) I'm ready for a detox. I would love to get back into dancing again. It's the only exercise I enjoy aswell as walking.
As regarding as my goals regarding my YouTube channel I would love to reach 1,000 subscribers. My plan of action is to try to upload videos more regularly and to have fun.
I'm excited to get stuck into making videos again.  If you have any requests or ideas of what I could make then why not tweet me @bunnymoonstone.
Also I would like to post weekly on my blog. Even if it's a random thought, idea or a review. I can't wait to see what 2020 has instore.
Let the blogging commence!
